[ESG경제신문=김연지 기자] 유럽연합(EU)이 산업계의 탄소비용 부담을 낮추기 위해 배출권거래제(EU ETS)의 온실가스 감축 속도를 늦추고 기업에 제공하는 무상배출권을 확대하는 방안을 추진한다. 탄소국경조정제도(CBAM) 적용 업종에 대한 무상할당도 당초 계획보다 오래 유지하는 방안이 검토된다. 로이터는 8일(현지시간) 유럽연합 집행위원회 관계자 발언을 인용해 집행위가 이 같은 내용의 EU ETS 개편안을 마련하고 있다고 보도했다. 집행위는 오는 17일 ETS 개편안을 공식 제안할 예정이다.이번 개편은 EU가 지난해 확정한 20
