The Council of the EU has agreed a position on a proposed amendment strengthening cooperation and VAT data sharing between national tax authorities, the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), and the Eurofisc network of anti-fraud experts.

INTA Members will vote on the provisional agreement on global steel overcapacity, on the adoption of the non-legislative report on EU economic security, on the EU-Pakistan agreement on tariff rate quotas in the wake of Brexit, on the termination of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement with Liberia on FLEGT and on the opinions to AFET on the agreements with Switzerland and on the changing geopolitical situation in East Asia. Pascal Lamy, Coordinator of the Jacques Delors Think Tanks will present a paper on a new era of EU mini-trade deals.Departing DG Trade Director-General Sabine Weyand will exchange with Members on the State of Play of EU trade policy. Members will also exchange on the State of play of the Commission proposal to suspend certain trade-related provisions of the Association Agreement between the EU and Israel and requirements on product labelling. Members will exchange on the draft oral question and resolution on the state of play of advancing EU-Africa trade and investment relations.
